FOERSTER METEX 4.251 is a highly sensitive pulse-induction metal detector designed for searching metallic objects at great depths – up to 3.3 meters. The device is ideally suited for humanitarian demining, technical area survey, and searching for explosive ordnance located deeper than a conventional mine detector can find.
The main advantage of the METEX 4.251 is its flexible search frame of variable configuration, which ensures stable operation even in difficult conditions: in soil, on rocky terrain, or in shallow water. The detector is capable of detecting all types of electrically conductive metals, and the built-in automatic ground tracking system compensates for the influence of mineralization and salt water, guaranteeing high accuracy.
The METEX 4.251 can be used even in close proximity to other systems without mutual interference. The device features analog indication, convenient regulation of sensitivity, audio, and power, as well as protection against dust and moisture according to IP65/IP67 standards.
Manufacturer: Institut Dr. Foerster GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), a leading global developer of high-precision magnetic and metal detection systems.
