You are currently viewing Compact Non-linear Junction Detector EDD-24T

EDD – 24T is a new non-linear junction detector. The device finds hidden devices: microphones, video cameras, voice recorders, smartphones, SIM cards. If the covert device is switched off, unpowered, or in standby mode, the EDD – 24T will detect it.

How does the EDD – 24T work?

To find a covert device, you need to scan the surface, devices, or structures at a distance of 10 – 30 cm. When the device detects hidden electronics, it emits an audible signal and displays information on the screen. It is convenient to use in small rooms; its dimensions are: 225 x 118 x 51 mm, screen diagonal – 9 cm. The EDD – 24T operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with a power up to 4 W. It receives the signal at frequencies 4.8 GHz and 7.2 GHz (second and third harmonics) and displays a separate level scale for each harmonic. To avoid interference, one of three frequency channels can be selected.

What materials does the EDD – 24T react to?

Silicon substrates are used in the manufacture of semiconductor electronics. When a high-frequency radio signal is transmitted through silicon, the frequency of the second harmonic of that radio signal is generated.

Bimetals or oxidized metals create a third harmonic signal. The EDD – 24T transmits a signal at 2.4 GHz and receives at 4.8 GHz (second harmonic) and 7.2 GHz (third harmonic). Therefore, the receiver will react to signals on the second harmonic from the smallest piece of silicon in a SIM card, smartphone, hidden cameras, microphones, and voice recorders.
